How do you get rid of all the 'escort' ads that keep appearing on facebook, yahoo homepage, etc? - Donna - 11-09-2012 10:54 AM

This week all of these 'escort' type ads keep popping up on yahoo homepage and facebook. What about youth who do not need to be exposed to this garbage. I am upset this has started happening. Is there a way to get rid of them?
The ads are not there all the time. It seems more in the evening and morning. These pop up boxes with scantily dressed girls wanting to 'chat' with us - they are 'live' feeds???? Not sure

not a lot you can, do they pay to put them there.

All you can do is report them. If everyone reported, you would see very little of them.

What do you mean by "escort ads"? - I do not see any ads that can be described this way.

check your computer for malware ..... real companies do not knowingly serve up 'escort' ads

it sounds like your computer has some kind of malware installed on it.
to get rid of this, either install malwarebytes anti malware:

and to get rid of "normal ads" and application spam on facebook, i recommend FB Purity, http://fbpurity.com
