I thought EVERYONE on facebook got timeline around August, yet still some friends have the old wall layout. How come?

Me too! Some of my friends still have the old wall layout. I think it's because they haven't open their Facebook to update it.

It depends on weather they choose to upgrade to timeline or not! This update generally shows up when people having old wall open facebook.com from a PC or Mac. Maybe your friends are using the mobile version of facebook more than the PC one!!
