when you click install it says this application is not compatible with this iPod. why wouldn't it be? why wouldn't they make it compatible?

I have an iPod touch and I use the Facebook application all the time. You may want to try to apply the application again to your iPod touch. All other touch users should be able to install these applications successfully. Make sure that you have the 2.1 update for iPod touch, because without that there is no way to use any applications. If you do have this update contact Apple support and keep trying to sync the application to your iPod touch.
