You use to be able to change it from that little pencil thing in the corner of the friends box but it doesn't have the privacy part there anymore. Does anyone know? Thanks!

go to setting ->privacy->veiw privacy settings written in "blue" u can change what ever it shows to the public from here(friends list,add as a friend and send a message)

Go to privacy setting > then where it says "Control basic information your friends will use to find you on Facebook. View Settings" click on view settings > then you'll see an option for friends list and choose the 'friends only' choice!
