How are to top 6 friends on facebook timeline determined.? - Alex M - 11-09-2012 11:01 AM

It doesn't seem random anymore and when you refresh the page the people don't change. I also noticed a guy who has a crush on me is appearing but hasn't spoken to me on Facebook. Is it by who views it the most?
@abraXus All he did was add me and hasn't done one thing since...
Well if adding someone counts as interacting then I guess what you should have said was random.

no it's not by "who views most" - that will never happen on facebook, so please stop thinking that there might be a way

it's people who you have interacted with the most, and "interacted" means more than just "talking to him" - it can be games you both play, pokes, comments, likes, any interaction - even if it's him commenting you instead of you commenting him....

it's not worth over-analyzing

________

then apparently "just adding you" counts towards "interacting" too

________

@eric - those arent "layouts" on that site - those are just cover images with a horribly ugly site stamp on them for advertising

It appears to be random. I can't see any pattern to the people it chooses to show on mine.

I also wanted to let everyone know that Facebook layouts are here now. To an extent. If you activate Timeline, by visiting http://www.fblyts.com. Hope this helps.
