I'm pretty sure you can't disable it, since Facebook is making everyone upgrade to Timeline eventually anyways.

I don't know why not open a new account?

This method for removing Timeline only applied to those who enabled it before its public release. Now that it's being rolled out to everyone, there is no way to remove Timeline and revert back to the old profile.

Step 1: Head to the Facebook Developers page where you originally created an app to enable Timeline. Click "Edit app."
Step 2: The only way to remove Timeline is to delete the app. If you are an actual developer, you're out of luck. Otherwise, click "Delete app" in the left sidebar.

Once you confirm the app deletion, your Facebook Timeline will be disabled.

Although you cant change back completely to the old style profile, you can however view all personal timeline pages in the faster loading and more user friendly, old style profile page format in your own browser via this simple guide:
http://fbpurity.com/remove-timeline

If you check the page, you will see that the solution has received over 15,000 "likes", and hundreds of positive comments on the feedback section, so you can be sure it really does work.

FB Purity is a completely safe website and browser extension, for proof you can check out what top computer security company, Norton, says about it:
http://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=fbpurity.com

BTW if you want to give feedback to Facebook about Timeline, you can do so directly via their official feedback form here: https://www.facebook.com/help/contact_us.php?id=150272491747654

Facebook don't yet provide an official option to get Timeline off, still you have a method to revert back to old Facebook from Timeline, read it here and implement: http://techably.com/2012/02/revert-back-to-old-facebook-from-timeline/
Hope you find it useful.

DON'T LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE THAT SAY THAT YOU CAN'T REMOVE IT.

If you use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, you CAN.
Check out this website - http://www.techtipsandtricks.tk - Click on 'Computer', and then click on the "remove timeline view from facebook" link, make sure that the browser name in the link corresponds with the browser you use the most.

You're welcome Smile

BTW do not click on the fbpurity link, it is a hack.
