Ever since timeline, I can only view the friends of some of my friends and I don't know why? Does anyone know how to view my friends friends

The reason you can only view the friends of some of your friends and not all of your friends friends is because each friend has individual privacy settings.
-Some people have their profiles set to only friend can see their friends, profiles and information.
-Some people have their profiles open so anyone can see their friends
-Some people have their profiles (as you mention) set so only friends, and friends of friends can see their profiles.
It's nothing to do with you just how each person has their own profile configured.
Also you can limit what friends have permission to see certain things on your profile

It has nothing to do with timeline. A person can make their friends list private in their settings so that you can't see who they're friends with (their friend list)
