There was a very controversial facebook group about animal testing, and I went to look for it today and couldn't find it. There were some groups of that title but not the one with millions of fans and controversial discussions.
Was it removed? Are there any news articles about it?

The group violated Facebook's TOS.

It's ashame they removed it b/c animal testing is evil...

That facebook group was removed because the creator of the group made a couple of racist comments. It enraged quite a few members. Many members reported the remarks, and left the group.
