facebook privacy setting help? - Georgia - 11-09-2012 11:06 AM

On facebook only me or mutual friends can see when i have written on someones else wall, for instance when a friend goes on my profile it does not say that i have written on someone elses wall they are not friends with. How can you change this???
I have looked on privacy setting but there is nothing really about it!
thanks Smile
thanks, i get what you mean, but does that mean it doesnt even say i have written on their wall even if they cant view my post ?

You cant.

Its due to the settings of the person whose wall youve written on.

They probably have it set to 'only friends', therefore, your friends are classed as 'friends of friends' and are unable to read the wall-owners wall.

Hope that makes sense!

On the home page of Facebook there are two tabs: Live feed and News feed. The fact that you commented on a friend's photo/status will show under News Feed only...to all your friends, even if not mutual.

But it's difficult to spot since there are so many feeds....
