Scenario 1: Picture this. You has a crush on a guy ever since you saw him on January 2011. He doesn't really notice you. On July 2012, you wrote him a note saying you like him and offered him a cookie. He never responded, but starts to say hi to you occasionally and you notice he stares at you. One time, he had to sit near you in class for a group activity and you touched his knee with your hand. He withdrew his leg and smiled at you weirdly. Then, today, he just went up to you when you are alone and said that he likes you.
Scenario 2: same story as above, but instead of telling you in real life, he does it on Facebook.
@rebecca I am the guy in the scenario. I am wondering if the girl would feel happier if I told her through Facebook or real life.

same thing almost happened to me when i was the first one who showed interest in this guy. he also didnt respond when i indirectly asked him to hang out BUT he continued to come up to me, tease me more like showing he likes me too but probably was surprised when i initially showed interest. your touch could also made a big reaction to him that's why he withdrew. if he personally said that he likes me, then that's awesome. i would feel very pretty, lol. if he says it on fb then that's okay too, the thing is he likes me. but i would prefer it personally as it's more binding than on fb.
