I wanna advertise something on facebook, but it just gives u step-by-step work throughs n I wanna know before I complete those steps so I know whether I can afford it or not.

Hi, it depends on what you want to sell as they (facebook) work out how much it should cost you per click! You can also set your daily spend limit so it does not run away from you. I find facebook ads a little expensive & I just use "like" pages as a sales platform which is FREE!! YAY!!
