Just read a book on Twitter called "The Twitter Book" - Tim O'Reilly. He wrote that you should start slow and not be a serial Twitterer twitting every hour. About 4 post a day is good except if covering an event in which cause us a hash tag. You need to fill out profile and put a picture up. That's important if you want followers. Twitter gets you followers if you're interesting. I highly recommend the book. I just got an account myself and the book was a great help. It's easy to ready and you can finish it in a day.

Retweet trending topics so your username pops up on lists.
Make your tweets interesting instead of tweeting about some random things that you are doing.

don't stress your self with all the hard work of tweeting , follow, unfollow
