How does Facebook Charge for ads? - Dorak - 11-09-2012 11:15 AM

Sorry, but i am doing a small video game business through facebook. I have decided to post one of those ads on the side of the screen. Anyway, I am making the ad, and it is asking for a budget. I thought this was free? I am missing something? is that a bill for me? How would they go about charging me? Thanks for the help.

the ads pay facebook so that the users notice it
facebook pretty much sells your information to companies that are willing to pay money and post ads that relate to your interests. for example, if you are interested in soccer, you might see some ads about cheap cleats or soccer balls and etc.

they are charging on day and monthly basis. if u create an ad .. it ll show wats the amount in the final step itself, i think u have to pay using pay pal or using ur credit card.
