Someone try to change my Facebook password. Two questions. Can I find out who? Also they got as far as the identify friends step. Since they didn't complete this step will my password stay what I had it?

If they login into your account then you can see their ip address in your account section. I suggest you to chage your password and security option as soon as possible.
