I put various names/subjects in but it doesn't bring anything up? What's up with this?
Do you know of any blogs/websites to learn how to use Twitter better? Thanks for your help

You could always try searching on Google by typing in:
keyword inurl:twitter.com
(Keyword = Whatever you're trying to find.)
That will yield results with your keyword that are on Twitter. It's pretty simple, yet effective.
You can also try the search function on the Twitter homepage, or the right sidebar when you're logged in.
