On the side under the picture, it will say Leave Group and on fan pages, if you scroll down a little, it will say remove me from fans.
Simple as that.

If you go to your profile, click on info, go to the group you want to unjoin and right underneath the group picture there is a leave group button

Go to the group and click "Remove Myself From Group". To create fan page, log out your account and click "Create a Page".
