I was wondering if you could change a setting where your friends CANNOT see photos that you like show up on their newsfeed

On the top right corner there is an arrow pointing downwards click on it > one of the options on it will say privacy settings click on it.

EDIT YOUR PRIVACY SETTINGS AS BELOW,
get the info you need to control your sharing on facebook,
your privacy setting page has a group of general controls for your facebook account ,like who can send your friend requests ,view photos ,messagdes and more,
if you are using a smart phone,
1. Tap photo at the top left of any page
2. Scroll to the bottom of the menu
3. Tap account >privacy settings
if you are using other phones,
1. Click settings at the bottom of every page
2. Choose account settings and edit your privacy
