How do I change my Facebook privacy settings to show some people my wall but not my status updates? - A Guy - 11-09-2012 11:21 AM

If I hide my status updates, it also doesn't show my wall? It only shows the info tab with my name and interests. Is there an intermediate step that shows the wall and wall posts by friends but not status updates?

Check your Privacy Settings in the Privacy Settings you can Control that

What's the point in hiding the status updates if they can see the wall? The updates will appear on the wall.

When you go to create a new status message, there is a small lock button to the left of the share button

Click on that and then click on Customize.
Change the settings to what you want.

If you want to hide the message from some people, then add their names in the 'Hide this from' section.
If you want this to be permanent, choose the 'Make this my default setting' option.

The small lock next to the status where you would update and go to customize!
