Why are some people refusing to let employers see their facebook? - James - 11-09-2012 11:22 AM

If you refuse to give an employer your fb password in an interview, you are blowing your chance at a big job. Not to mention, you are being very immature. Such immaturity has no place in the business world. Why are some of you being stubborn? Good luck being unemployed and eating food from trashcans on the street like the other hobos. Why can't people grow up and remember facebook is a public site....there is no privacy.
Heck, most of your online activities are being tracked and kept in their system, doesn't matter if you are logged off or on.

Some people have... very good reasons to not let employers look at their facebook profile. People put some things on Facebook that should be kept from certain people. Also... you said facebook PASSWORD? Why would anyone give out their password?

Why would employers ever want the password of your fb?

because people post too many embarrass stuff on facebook that they would not otherwise show to their employer and the fact that facebook is not secure. I do know people who have given their yotive.com profile out and feels safe about it
