I follow 69 people, and I have 270 followers. Is this a lot for somebody who is not a celebrity?

Not really taking into consideration that I RARELY use my Twitter & I have 18 followers...I have only Tweeted 84 tweets in 2 years... why do I have 18 followers?

If you are a great user of twitter and make tweets daily then you can have a long list of followers. I have around 900 followers.
