I have turned off chat for about 10 to 11 friends on facebook as i was busy
i don't remember their names
anyways i want 2 turn on chat for all of them
any idea how and where to do it

Click the gear menu in the chat sidebar
Select Advanced Settings
Click Turn on chat for only some friends and remove the friends from the list and save it. you will get all the friends in your chat.
