use this: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/adblock-plus/cfhdojbkjhnklbpkdaibdccddilifddb

It's perfect, disables youtube ads, ads on the side of websites, gets rid of pandora's adds in between songs, it's litterally the most amazing thing ever. But it should take care of your problem if it's an internet ad. As for Adware (virus that basically opens ads on your computer all the time) you probably got it from a download you recently installed on your computer. It's no big deal, it's just a pain. If adblock plus doesn't fix it, it's adware and you should do a full scan with an antivirus program to get rid of it.

AND, if that still doesn't work, I would recommend getting Revo Uninstaller, it can uninstall the stuff you recently put on your computer, then it scans your computer for any files the uninstaller didn't remove (so mainly stuff like adware). Uninstall some stuff you didn't get from reliable sources.

It sounds likeyou have a malicious program on your computer known as "adware" that is injecting the ads, see here for more info: https://www.facebook.com/help/adware

BTW If you also want to get rid of Facebooks normal ads, the best way to do it is to install the FB Purity browser extension, its 100% safe & has lots of features for keeping your facebook clean from ads and other junk you dont want to see:
