Okay I'm 13 and I'm going to get Facebook, as I want to put my holiday pics up, talk to friends far away, get to know people etc. I'm not sure if there's any social 'rules' though, and what should you do? And not do on Facebook?

You can easily use Facebook.

Don't share too much personal information. Also, don't share information that you wouldn't want your employer to know because just because you post something and delete it doesn't mean it's really gone. Facebook stores all that information internally.
