untag yourself from the photo

If your not tagged then you can try reporting that you don't like the picture or asking them on chat or in person to remove it.

Had the same trouble, although I'm not sure if it's the same if someone else posts the image. If you click on the image it goes to the album and under the the bottom right corner of the picture there should be a link that says "Remove from Timeline". Click that and it should take care of it.
