Why are there unwanted ads all over Facebook? - Sophia - 11-09-2012 11:46 AM http://i56.tinypic.com/vzfn9x.png I highlighted all the ads in this screen shot in red. I use Mozilla Firefox and these ads honestly came out of nowhere as far as I know. My question is how do I permanently remove these and future ads? Are ads new then? Because about an hour ago I had never seen that many ads all over my news feed. - Andy - 11-09-2012 11:54 AM The ads are how they pay for site and make money. You can't remove ads - Bryan - 11-09-2012 11:54 AM To pay for the web site. - Mark - 11-09-2012 11:54 AM MONEY? - Sandy - 11-09-2012 11:54 AM u need to use adblock plus get at adblock plus. org look for firefox add on hope this helps - Zoaa Z - 11-09-2012 11:54 AM It pays for Facebook. If you use Firefox, (Or Google Chrome, but I recommend firefox more.) Theres an "Ap" for it called Ad Blocker Plus. You can use it to block all ads, I don't even know what an ad looks like anymore, to tell you the truth! https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/ Download this. http://easylist.adblockplus.org/en/ And then download the first two lists on the site. Feel free to add whichever blockers you would like, after doing so :]. (Add them.) |
