I've had a tumblr for over 2 years now and only have 91 followers. Other than the obvious answers of post popular tthings what can I do to get more followers

YOU have to start following people,because alot of times they'll follow you back.Also, post links to youtube videos,pictures,and popular news storys. It also helps to post lots of post lots of pics of yourself on sites like polyvore, photobucket, tinypic and imageshck.it gets your name out there,and people will start knowing your name.Take directions from scene queens, you just have to really put yourself out there=]

follow promotion blogs, follow bloggers who follow back

you have to follow people that have a lot of followers so that they eventually give you a promotion

I have no idea.
I joined twitter and tumblr and within a few months I had like 600+ followers on both.
I was really stunned.
I think you just gotta post stuff people can relate to? And follow lots of other people, because chances are, they'll follow back.
Follow "follow trains"...
Follow everyone back and let people know in your about me that you follow back...
Do promo for promo...
Don't post too many personal posts.
Have an easy to get around layout so people won't be frustrated on your blog.
Well... yeah.
