Why is my new Facebook Timeline cover photo blurry? - Cait Sith - 11-09-2012 11:50 AM
Hey guys, I finally made the switch to Timeline, but I'm having problems with the giant cover photo across the top. I made an image, 850x320, but it appears blurry in Facebook. It's a very crisp digital drawing, and I can't figure out how to alter my image to solve this problem.
Please help!

you have to resize it to fit. go to picnik, it should have a resize setting.

facebook's compression really ruins the quality of photos, but try making your image 851x315 and avoid using large areas of solid color. you can also visit a facebook app that gives you tools to create covers or use premade covers. the link is http://apps.facebook.com/timeline_covers
