i know that there is 'Twiends' to get your follower NUMBER up, but i want to have more real, legit people that will actually talk! I know there is no magic, but how can i get a better presence... BTW my twitter is http://twitter.com/#!/liveMusicRights or just follow me @liveMusicRights

You're right. There is no magical way to do that. Getting real twitter followers that are genuinely interested in you may take a lot of time and work.
Here are some things that you can do to get natural followers:
- make your profile interesting.
- make your tweets interesting (mostly about your interests)
- make sure to put "follow me @___." at the end of every post. Not only on twitter. On all the Social Media Websites too. Facebook, Myspace, Multiply etcetc.
- follow celebrities
- get your tweets retweeted
