ok so my friend wanted to see a picture of the guy i have been talking to lately, so i decided to go on his profile and copy and paste the link address to 2 of his pictures, and send them as links to my friend through facebook messaging, all im wondering is that would he find out that i did this through facebook, or would he some kind of notification?? thx!!

He wont,only if you mention his name in a fb comment (you have to be friends with him for that to happen)

Everything that you do on Facebook messenger is kept private between yourself and whomever you share the conversation with. There isn't anything you can do in messenger that will flag any type of notifications outside of the noise it makes on your friend's computer when they receive your instant message
