My boss at camp threatened all of the staff that we would be fired if they saw pictures of us with alcohol on our facebooks. But I don't understand how they could see our profile because I am not facebook friends with my boss. How can they do this?
I've heard there is something valled an administrative account..whch allows the admin. to view anyones profile..is this true?

on facebook go to the settings and make sure only your friends can view your profile.

Well, anyone on Facebook can view your Display Picture. However, your boss can't view your profile, if you have the Privacy Settings changed to "Only friends can view my profile". If you have your Privacy Settings set to "Allow everyone to fully see my profile", then he can view your pictures.

Because facebook recently made changes that allows anyone to see content, not just those inside your network. Anything you put on the web can be seen...a couple clicks & a photo can be copied & sent to hundreds of people at a time. If you don't want things seen, don't post them, but also make sure that you have your privacy set so that only your friends can see them. If you don't trust all your friends, set up a group so that only your most trusted friends can see the pics.

If you went to "Privacy Settings (Profile Information)" and allow only friends to view your profile, then your friends can view your profile. You didn't make your information of your profile private.
Hope that helps! Make sure that you go to "Privacy Settings", and then "Profile Information". Adjust the options and save changes!

because he can see your photo albums if you make they public. duh.
