I need to see my friend's list of facebook friends but she put privacy settings so no one can see it. Is there a way to see it? I need to see if shes friends with someone but its awkward to ask.

Go to that persons page and see if she's your mutual friend

there's no way around the privacy setting, but it should still tell you if she's friend with the person if you go to that other person's profile and look
