Question about Facebook profile page not appearing correctly? - Tara - 11-09-2012 11:52 AM
My boyfriend and I just made him a Facebook account and when anyone goes to his profile it shows all of his work, school, etc info instead of his wall first. I don't know if this is a new layout for people who made a Facebook just recently, but it doesn't say anything on my Facebook account about switching to a new version or nothing about switching to an old version on his account. Is there a way to fix this because this format is really confusing. Thanks in advance for any help

Tara, Facebook is slowly switching everyone over. You should see a "new profile" notice on your Facebook page sometime in the next week, hopefully. As for your boyfriend, sorry, there's no going back. All new accounts receive the new layout.

facebook have been messing about lately but it sounds more like you have not yet fully finished making the account / profile info. it brings up the info page so you know you have not finished. try clicking edit my profile click through everything and then you should be done also check email to see if you need to confirm any info to them . hope that helps

Tara...if U have the old FB format, do not change it. The new version, which your boyfriend has by default when a new profile is created, cannot be changed to the old format. If it does become a possibility for your b/f to use the old format, FB will advertise it. The new format is BUNK. I don't recommend anyone use it.
