i've had the iPhone for 2 years. I recently got the iPhone 4 (in August) with 8 GB. I am wanting some more apps, but unsure of what to get. here's what i got so far:

Definitely get Words With Friends, it's a lot of fun!
Also you should get a flashlight app, I'm not sure if Iphone has one built in? I'm an Android user so I'm not entirely sure.
Here are some more I recommend:
-Swype Keyboard (makes texting so much easier).
-Rabbit Launcher (gives you a ton of themes and cool wallpapers).
-Angry Birds (so fun)!!
-ESPN ScoreCenter (If you keep up with any sports at all, this makes it much easier).
-YouVersion (The best Bible app).
-Myxer (Amazing for ringtones).
-Zedge (Also great for ringtones/games/backgrounds).
I hope you like a few of those, I'd also recommend jailbreaking your Ipod, it "frees" your phone, and if you go to a foreign country, you won't be charged for airtime in the airplane or anything like that, my buddy works at our local Mac store, so that's how I know. You can also access many more apps and you can get live wallpapers once you jailbreak it.

Angry Birds, Doodle Jump, Pocket God... look in the top charts. Those apps are always really popular and super fun to have.
