As soon as I am on facebook people seem to know I am on facebook. Can I hide this? I am already showing as- off chat- but apparently people still can see I am on FB.

if you're offline they shouldnt see you......... press the little gear at the bottom of chat and if "available to chat" has a check next to it, click it. that will make you go offline and nobody can see you

if you go offline while on chat, they shouldnt be able to see you at all. maybe its just a glitch.
