Is there a way to delete updates on Twitter? - Think about it - 10-01-2012 10:02 PM
When I opened my account I posted a lot of comments on a particular friend's twitter page and now looking back I want to remove them considering I have family members on my network who it is embarassing to have them read those comments! Is there any way to take them back? For example on youtube you are allowed to go and delete a comment you post to a video. It has the little lock symbol next to them so I'm wondering if they're locked in. Thanks for any help!

check your comments on your own "profile" tab. to the right of each comment, there should be a little trash can icon, under the little star icon
deleting your comment removies it entirely, including from your followers' pages (it's supposed to, anyway. i just haven't tried it yet)
