I tweeeeeeet alot and i have 28 followers! Me and a few S|O eachother almost everyday. I'm #teamfollowback n I use hastags !

So how can I gain more followers?
i have tons of friends..but none of my friends use twitter.. I have +1000 friends on facebook..

Get a life first, than tell them "follow me on twitter"
or get friends on facebook than tell them to follow you on twitter but you got to start out with friends lol.

FOLLOW (celebrities, companies), MENTION (celebrities, trending topics), REPLY (interesting tweets, or tweets by celebrities *most likely not to get a response*), RETWEET (interesting tweets/ something you would say)...

-Be funny and make ORIGINAL jokes. People always want to read funny Twitters.
-Be real, honest, and not immature. Sell yourself on Twitter, and stop trying to be like everyone else.
-Follow people that promote their own followers.
-Use popular tags that are trending.
-Follow a bunch of random people, especially in your area, and they may follow you back. Eventually people might find you randomly and decide to add you.
-Promote yourself on your blog, on FB, MySpace, e-mail, to friends/family, and through web sites on the web. People might click and follow on occasion.
-Respond to people on your account (mentioning) and give a "shout-out" to new followers.
-Follow celebrities/popular individuals on Twitter and reply to their tweets numerous times. You may get a "retweet" or reply and gain many followers by chance.
-Last, be friendly and respectful to all users and leave your account public.
