How is Facebook safe regarding to privacy? - Cornisyummy - 11-09-2012 11:58 AM

I want a Facebook, but my parents say that some creepy weirdos can get my information. Even with the safety features. I'm like the only one without one in my grade and I hate it. I really want one! Please help.
By the way, I already know why it's unsafe, no need to tell me that.

You can do a lot to keep your info yours. Don't put your address or phone number on it. Specially watch out who you add as a friend and which apps you use. Some apps give access to all you personal data, even pictures. Simple things like making some posts only open to your friends can help out.

It comes down to this. As long as you don't put stupid things on facebook and watch out what you add you will be fine.
