The e-mail address that I used for my facebook account has a ton of unread forwards and ads so I was just going to delete it. Is there a way to transfer the whole account to a different e-mail?

yes u have to go to accoutnt verify it and change ur email

Yes, go to settings, Account settings,
Add a new email which you want to keep.
Select the new email as primary email and later after confirming that new email,
delete the old email.
