I joined a facebook group by accident and if it appears in people's news streams my friends will think I'm an idiot. I left it straight away and it disappeared from my profile. Will it disappear from other's news streams too?

no.. as soon as you undo an action it'll delete automatically...
(for wallposts,fan pages and everything)
