well its pretty easy honestly I've been getting all my followers through this website

Well, people would like a follow back you know, they want more followers too. But If you say things like, RT if you love cupcakes, and people RT you, some people will follow you.

One effective way to get followers fast is to use YOULIKEHITS - it's free to use and you can also use it to get automatic retweets. This will help expose your tweets to a wider audience of potential followers. You can also add yourself for free to WeFollow so new people with similar interests to yours can find you. Use the #hashtag so anyone doing a search for that specific subject can find your tweets. Most important, make sure you post tweets that are interesting and useful to a large number of other people and not just interesting to you! Write an article about something you like. And people who like what you are writing about, will follow you to learn more about the topic. However, If you want them to follow you, make sure you post a few links to sites about that topic, or product (who cares?) per week. By doing this, at least you will keep them interested.

I was once in the same situation as you. My friends had tons of followers, my tweets were better....but I had next to no followers at all. Then I started research the topic on how to get them, and I got lots of different Ideas. The simple ones are changing hashtag to #teamfollowback on your bio. Another Idea that works all the time, is to simply search #teamfollowback and follow a bunch of the people that come up. You are guaranteed to get a bunch that way. Then you can use manageflitter to remove the people you follow fast. (instead of unfollowing one after another) Simply rinse and repeat!
However, there is also a lazy man's way of doing it. It's called FollowrPro. Basically, its a website that has a huge database of twitter accounts (mostly actives ones) that follow you when you submit an offer.
