PLEASE HELP ME !
ok , so i just started getting these ads on facebook and youtube .
idk how to get them off !

they started popping up cuz i accidentally clicked on something and it downloaded something to my computer. so i removed the downloaded item, and they were still there. so, i scanned my computer for viruses using malware bytes. and it found 2 infected objects. one was the downloaded item. i had already deleted the item, but, i deleted it again, and they were STILL there. so then i thought it might be my browser, google chrome. i checked safari, firefox, and internet explorer, and they had the ads too. to see if it would work, i uninstalled google chrome and installed it again. they were still there, and then a few hours later they were gone. now theyre back ! idk how to get rid of them for good !

DETAILS:
-the downloaded item was some 'play free mario games online' thing.
-i use google chrome

WHERE THE ADS ARE:
-youtube homepage (top left)
-facebook homepage (bottom left)
-facebook news feed (top middle)
-youtube video (bottom middle)
-my facebook profile (top right)
-my youtube channel (bottom right)

YOUTUBE DETAILS:
-the ads on youtube pop up on my channel and the side of my videos like im a partner, but im not!
-the ads on youtube are on other non-partner's videos also.

FACEBOOK DETAILS:
-on the homepage, there is also two little black boxes in the corner that say 'background' and 'remove background'
and idk what they do. i havent clicked on them.
-the ads are on other peoples profiles too.

PLEASE HELP ME! IF YOU NEED ANY MORE INFO PLEASE ASK AND I WILL GIVE IT TO YOU!

While I don't know that much about chrome, I know that for Firefox there's an add-on called "Ad-block" blocks many ads (even those pesky YouTube pre-video ads)

Actually, I just found it for chrome!

If this doesn't work just give me a message and I'll reply!
