I started a twitter and I want followers how do I get them its more like a blog on twitter I dont want my friends to know that its mine its an anonymous accout sprt of thing so please tell me ways to get followers

Have an official sounding name without characters or numbers. Also make sure your icon is professional looking. Never EVER leave it as an egg. Tweeting often can help as well. If I look at an account and see that it only has 4 tweets, I wouldn't follow it.

Well since you don't want your friend or family to know about it you can't ask them to follow you therefore you fastest way of getting followers in out.
I suggest you join a twitter followers exchange system/website and you will gain as many followers as the number of people you follow. I prefer using http://www.socialclerks.com/ for such services. Its an exchange, if you don't want to follow other people to gain followers you can make a separate facebook account and earn the credits need for getting free followers by liking facebook pages.
