hey guys just interested in getting an ipod touch...
is there anything else important that i need to know before i get one? like additional payments?

Wifi is free. Youtube automatically comes on the ipod touch and facebook can be downloaded for free. There are no additional payments or charges for the ipod touch like the iphone. The only additional charger you have to pay for is additional apps (games) that you want from the apple app store. Which is totally optional. You can also find lots of apps that are pretty cool for free.

wifi is free and it comes built in
just go to a coffee shop to get on the internet
At home you'll need to buy a wireless router so that you can connect to the internet
Youtube is free
you can get facebook for the Touch
Some apps are free, some aren't (prices vary)
Extra info: Buy a case! you should really get one because you need to protect your touch from scratches! Dont worry about the screen because it does NOT scratch easily, but you need to protect the back of the ipod
you can have up to 148 apps on the Touch at one time (9 pages of apps)
It doesn't come with any games but you get weather, stocks, safari, youtube, calendar, calculator, Mail,maps, notes, and contacts (these are the apps)
