My sister is 14 and is obsessed with nail polish (ALWAYS painting her nails) and make up (spoiled rotten with it) and she loves facebook and those apps like instagram. Its so annoying because she tries too hard, and she tries to look "cool" when in reality she is a 14 year old girl who cant keep her room clean and enjoys attention. I am extremely bothered by tthe way this because she doesnt act the way she is percieved.

Your sister is 14 and likes what a lot of other 14 year olds do. I know 30 year olds who cant keep their room clean, are obsessed with facebook and are far from responsible. Give her time. She could be interested in unhealthy things, that would be harmful to her. A dirty room and interest with the latest OPI polish, facebook or new app isn't all that disastrous.
