I wanted to know if there is any way to stop all the updates that appear on your homepage on Facebook from groups you're a member of and the fanpages 'cause Im really annoyed of those as Im a member of allot of those.

Delete the group or fanpage.

you can press the hide just at the spot without unliking it...
none of it's posts are gonna show up until you don't allow it from the settings

Hover your cursor near the right corner of a post. An "x" will appear. Click on it and it will give you the option to hide posts from the group or to cancel. That will stop posts from the group from showing up on your feed, but you will still belong to the group.

To unhide a group, click on "top stories" at the top of your page, scroll down to edit options, click, and it will give you a dialogue box that will let you look through friends, apps and pages. Find the one you want and click on "add to feed". New posts to the group will show on your feed.
