Well my problem is that am not getting the "get timeline" option in the right hand side of the page "Introducing Timeline"...Is there any other way?

If you go to a friends page who has the timeline the option should be at the top

your account has to be at least 30 days old first

don't worry about that. They will do it for you, even if you don't like it.

Go to your friends page who has a Facebook timeline, then click on the button near their profile, "Get Facebook Timeline".
