I don't feel like pouring out my entire life story, so long story short: I have a group on FB and my friend has a group on FB. On hers, you can see "Seen by __". On mine, you can't. I really want this function because I think it'd be really useful...how do I get it?

if your group is older, before that feature was introduced, it's not possible - only the newly created groups have that feature
so you could just create another group and add the same people to the new group - that is really the only option
