How do you make so certain people cant see your status or something you like on facebook
well do i do that before or after i post it

At the top right, select Account > Privacy. You can change each to Everyone (even people without a facebook account), Friends of friends, or just Friends.

Each post can also have individual privacy settings.

See that little padlock icon under the status update window? You can make it so certain people can't read your updates, or only few people can etc... when you write something. FB is really good at privacy settings. You can go into basic privacy and block certain people from seeing certain things, it's under 'account/privacy settings' at the top. Good luck.

Account settings>privacy settings> custom>customize settings

then near the posts by me bit theres the down arrow, click that and click customize
and then hide type in who you want to hide it from
