I had a MySpace before it went all gay.. and there were websites like maxadds that you'd go to and get lots of friends. I had about 4k on myspace.. then it changed and I quit using it.
So are their any websites like maxadds that I could use for tumblr and twitter?
I want more followers on twitter more than anything, thanks.
Maxadds DOES have a Twitter train thing going on, I'm using it, it works well, but not well enough.
Any other trains you would reccommend? I don't really feel like spending money, btw.

I noticed that on Twitter, the more people you follow, the more followers you get. So you can try that out.
If you tweet on Twitter about your Tumblr, that can help you with your Tumblr problem.

For twitter, follow shitloads of people, and the majority of them will follow you back.
For tumblr:
- tag all of your posts
- follow people
- write on popular blog's asks
- do promotions / follow trains / reblog something that says what kind of blog you are or that you follow back
- follow more people
