My bf hacked into my facebook account, privacy question? - Emerson - 11-09-2012 12:26 PM

My boyfriend hacked into my facebook account and wrote some nasty things on there,he obviously seen me type in my password before,i've changed it now,but if he has my facebook automatically saved into his facebook can he still get it?

No, but if he also has the login to your email address that you use to login to facebook, he could do a password recovery.

My question is... why in the world are you still with him!

- LucasPC.com - 11-09-2012 12:35 PM

no since you changed your password he will have to re-enter the password.
it is a good idea to change your security question as well as your email address password also
because he can do a forgot password option and try to get into your email account and reset it

no he cant you need the password, well unless.. you didn't logout.....

- lorne - 11-09-2012 12:35 PM

not if you have changed your password.
i would change it about every 2 days for a while, that should put a stop to it.
if i were you i would change my boyfriend .if he really cared about you he wouldn't have put nasty thing in. its not a nice person who would do that.

First of all, please do not use the term "hacked" or "hacking" for granted. There is a fine difference between "hacking" and miscellaneous "hacking"; that miscellaneous "hacking" is coined as "cracker" or other similarity terms that is conjunction towards the same situation.

Bottom Line: A hacker is a person who breaks into computers, but does no harm, usually for fun or just the challenge. This does not apply to this situation, so please use correct terms.

Send this problem to Facebook web inquries and they will solve this situation, if you are worried about your boyfriend getting your new password then I suggest send your problem to Facebook Support and they will help you as with many issues alot similar to this or exactly the same.

Nothing will happen as you mentioned.
Follow the below steps
1) Once you login for next time Go to Account-->AccountSetting-->Password and change password
2) Change the security question on same page
3) Be sure both password and security question are difficult enough for your BF to guess
4) Change the password for your email address which is default for FB. (This is prevention in case your BF might know your password for email address).

Hope this helps!!
